Scouts will work on the Nuclear Science merit badge at the Cook Nuclear Power Plant. Afterwards the troop continues to Muskegon, Michigan for an overnight stay on the US Coast Guard Cutter McLane.
It is a lot to pack in the first day so we need to depart Elliott parking lot on Saturday morning 3-14 at 6:30 AM. Be sure you are ready for the merit badge clinic by having paper and pencil. You might want to look at the badge requirements, link below.

Merit Badge Counselor List
The list previously located in the right had column of the troop website has been removed.
Scouts….
If you want to find out who is a counselor you will need to ask the Scoutmaster.
Adult scouters….
If you want to be a counselor you need to be a registered adult, have a current YPT completion certificate and have submitted a counselor information form. Your name will then be added to the master merit badge counselor list.
Updates….
The counsel will send a letter to you every 2 years to confirm that you are still willing to be a counselor.
This is the latest story told to me today by our district director.
