A sincere welcome is extended to Cub Scouts to join Boy Scouts. The meeting tonight gave a quick introduction to the activities the troop has done and plans to do this coming year. The Cub Scouts were shown the new cook stoves and patrol boxes. They also assembled six of the troops two man tents.
Parents were encouraged to give the troop a try. One of the very best ways to start off is to attend the Father and Son Campout coming up during the weekend of February 18th. The location will be at Camp Betz. You don’t want to miss this. The sleeping arrangements are all indoors. Meals are prepared by the adults. The scouts have the maximum opportunity to get to know each other and have lots of fun. Bring a sled to enjoy the snow.
